Pine City Summer Rec Fundraiser: Chance to see the MN Twins!!
CANDY SALES: Wednesday June 21st ends on Thursday July 6th
Our Fundraiser: Pine City Summer Rec remains a FREE program because of our wonderful sponsors and our Candy Sales fundraiser that we put on each year. All boys and girls that finished 2nd grade and higher are asked to sell candy to raise money to keep this program free for all participants.
Pick up Candy:
Voyager Municipal Building (in the parking lot behind) at 205 Main Street S
Wednesday June 21st from 11 AM - 5pm
Thursday June 23rd from 11 AM - 3PM or
PC Golf Course: Thursday June 23rd from 3 AM - 5:00 PM
City Softball Fields concession stands:
Monday nights 5:30 - 8pm
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8AM - 11AM
***T & Th During game nights when concessions are open 6:15 - 7:45
Turn in $Money:
Should be labeled with your child’s name, phone #, & amount and can be turned into ANY PC Summer Rec coach or the Concession Stand. The candy sells for $2.00 a piece. This is an excellent educational experience for our young citizens! The candy sale ends on Thursday July 6th, please return any unsold candy and all money to the city fields concession stand for inventory. There are envelopes in each case of candy to return the money, each envelope should be labeled with your name, phone number, and amount of money returned. You are responsible for the money and candy in your possession.
This year the top 39 Candy Sellers will be eligible to attend the Twins Game July 26th 12:10 pm game
There will be a bus that takes the kids and coach chaperones to the Twins game. Over the last 2 years players that sold at least 3 boxes of candy were eligible to go. Students that sold 2 boxes were put into a lottery drawing for the remaining tickets. If there are multiple children in your household please tell the coaches when you pick up the candy. We allow a family of 2 children to go with 4 boxes sold; a family of 3 children to go with 5 boxes sold etc.) Players will be notified with a letter at practice if they are eligible for the twins game!
