A comment from an opposing coach: He praised us as coaches and our girls. He said that we are coaching the way it should be done, working on teaching the love of the game, fundamentals, improvement, versatility and that we are representing our program with great pride. And he praised our girls for the way that they play the game. How they always do their best, how they move around the field and lift each other up.

We had a tremendous amount of respect for how we played the game, how our coaches represented the team and the positive interactions that we had amongst all of us. At the end of the game our teams shook hands and they ran the bases together.
"We didn't lose... We learned"
